Tia is inspired by cymatics, Hans Jenny was a Swiss medical doctor, who coined the word ‘cymatics’ from the Greek word ‘kyma’, meaning wave, to describe the periodic effects that sound and vibration has on matter.

A study by artist Tanya Harris named “The Architecture of Sound” depicts the resonant frequencies of 4 churches.

As stated on her website “She recorded the resonant frequency of four Hawksmoor churches. Inspired by a technique discovered by Alvin Lucier, Harris recorded the silence of each church and played this recording back into the church while re-recording and repeated this process until the resonant frequencies of the church became audible.”

In Genesis, we are told that God spoke the world into existence.

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit” Proverbs 18:21
